Don’t Rush! Writing Is A 4-Step Process

1. Prepare to welcome new ideas

Though the calling for new ideas is a critical footstep for a successful writing-related work, many of us still let it go. Someone even thinks that writing means sitting down and the fountain of words will automatically come and overflow through the pen, or on the keyboard, or on whatever you use to write. It doesn’t have to connote that.

One thing should be taken into account if you commit yourself to be an idea hunter –  always bringing yourself a note and a pen, everywhere. You never know when genius viewpoints and excellent ideas will strike, so be prepare to welcome the unexpected and amazing objective, idea and sense. Write down anything you think matters, and sounds matters. Why? Who knows the little thing at this moment can be a treasury in the future.

2. Work with collected ideas

Having all interesting and worthy ideas in hands, tackling their order and procedure will turn out to be a fun and easy task. And you will find how easy it is to have a well-organized article. Now, it might seem a little nonsense if I talk about a killing title. There are thousands of texts out there indicating how to have a killing headline, so I won’t try to waste your time anymore. I just want to say that title is the first thing your reader catch and read basing on that they decide to continue reading your writing or not. Having that being said, when you fail to write a compelling title, a well-organized article will not work much no matter how high quality it has.

Always have your readers in mind

welcome new ideas

Thinking about your reader is the only way to have a reader-oriented writing. What do they want from your article? Does your writing fulfill their needs of information? Does it bring anything new to them? Then, again, try to include only relating and meaning ideas and make it easy for them to follow. Saying that no one wants to read a hard-to-follow writing that drives them crazy.

3. Write draft

Now is the time to bring your ideas go live with relative sub ideas which strongly support them. Only after all ideas come in their proper arrangement, you should start to add more contents regard to the relevance and coherence. Use conjunctions and relative phrases to make your writing easy to understand.

Always bear in mind the main topic. Stay focused, don’t ramble, otherwise your article will end up tangling and hard to grasp. Polish each and every sentence while removing unnecessary ones.

4. Edit and publish

Leave your writing for a day and come back to it with fresh eyes.  Come back and edit your work a few times will reduce mistakes that you usually cannot realize right after writing.

Many people think that most of the writers can produce articles in a matter of minutes. They are wrong. All most all successful writings are achieved through a process of work consisting of brainstorming, writing, editing, editing and. .. editing. So, prepare yourself to come back to your works after a breaking time. Never even thinking about such a thing called one-time ready-to-go writing. Review and rewrite before actually publishing.
