Why Do I Read?

I read books, first of all, because I love the smell of books and I love the feeling of touching papers full of magic text, either new or old ones.

I read because I want to see the word through different sets of eyes, different sets of minds and thoughts.

I can totally lose myself in a book, I mean in the story it tells. It seems that I’m living its people’s lives, feeling what they feel, thinking what they think. It’s so much fun and full of feelings, those feelings that last for hours, days and even years long. They support me in the life that suffers.

Thanks to books, I can access the huge store of human knowledge and information from the ancient to modern days. I cannot even image how my life would go without the exitance of books. Knowing that there’s always something new and interesting to learn around me.

There is a high chance that you will catch a thing that can change your point of view or expose you to a new way of living and giving. All of the majestic things ever existed in the world can be reached by books while sitting comfortably on a couch. Without books, working and learning must be a challenge and hard to go through.

why i read

I don’t mean to bore you or scare you with anything that I wrote. But if you don’t read, you are in the high possibility of missing so much significant information that you need to live happily and wealthily. Without books, my life would be going in the different path right now, not even thinking about reading and writing something in English like this article. Without those magical papers, I would be unable to see beyond what I was having and dealing every single day.

Sometimes you might feel how distant it is from you to the life and what happens around you. Sometimes you may want to be alone, not to join any other activity, just keep a distance. If you feel good about that, then it’s OK. Otherwise, life, to some extents, is like an audience sport, there have things that can only be observed and watched from a distance. As long as you bring yourself good books.
